Jordanelle

Sigh.....the turning of the leaves is my favorite time of the year. This past weekend we were invited to go camping in Jordanelle with Leonard & Debbie (Dad & Step Mom). The weather was beautiful!
Friday night we got up there late. We had dinner and went to bed. I nearly froze to death! I was almost convinced that I was going to have to sleep in the Mini Cooper. After the sun woke up we loaded up the boat and spent then next 5 hours on the boat. It was so relaxing. Anth caught a fish. I read countless pages of my book and we even got to see the sail boat competition.
It was a perfect day and I was so glad we were able to go. That night Debbie had the bright idea to heat up some stones to sleep with so we weren't cold. I felt like a pioneer (: The 4 big stone sat above the fire for a couple hours. We wrapped them in a towel and I have never slept so well in a tent....ever! I was toasty warm and cozy.

The next morning (Sunday) the boys went out for another fishing trip but the boat didn't cooperate so instead they took the canoe out. Debbie and I eventually walked down to the water and enjoyed the view.
We then packed up and came home. Thanks Debbie & Leonard for the awesome weekend! Love ya both!
