Masters Presentation

Friday night Anthony was up at the University presenting his Final Project to the public. It was so fun to see his final project all completed. I am so proud of all of his accomplishments. His final project was to design a winery. Back in January he went to Napa Valley and was able to take a tour through a few wineries. He had such a great time that he is going to take me back in September, as I was not invited to go with his class....so rude.

Below are a couple of pictures that Debbie took. Of course my camera died after two lame shots. His project had so many details. You can tell it took him hours and hours. It is kind of hard to tell but the winery is set on a mountain. The only way to get from the road to the winery is by taking a tram. He also put some lights in the building, it was awesome to see it lit up. Thanks to everyone that came out to support him. Especially my Mom, she drove all the way from Tremonton just to see it.

Saturday night me and Anthony went over to his Moms house. It was Anthonys step Dads birthday a few days ago so we were finally celebrating and along with that his mom wanted to celebrate the completion of school. After a wonderful meal John gave a wonderful speech in regards to Anthony and all of his hard work. They then brought out a stickley rocking chair. Apparently Stickley was one of the pioneers of the arts and crafts movement in the early 1900's. Basically this company makes everything by hand, no machinery involved. Anthony loves the style and it was a really generous gift. It is such a beautiful piece of furniture and it is very comfy. I rocked away in it all night. Below is a picture of it. The picture is from my phone so the quality is horrible.

It has been a very busy weekend but it is so nice to be around family and have Anthony home and not so stressed out. We now are leaving in about an hour to head to Brigham. Today is my sister in laws birthday. We are so busy! We love it though! I hope everyone else is having a wonderful weekend too! Love you all!

Congrats to both of you!!! I fully believe that any sort of degree earned belongs to both the student and the spouse - you worked hard so that he could work hard! Good luck with everything, and enjoy getting to know each other now that you actually get to see each other!
