Tomorrow I am taking the plunge and I am FINALLY getting my hair chemically straightened. This has been a long time coming. I've always had some residual guilt when pondering the idea. Mostly due to my grandma. She passed away a couple of years ago but she loved my curls. She hated when I spoke negatively about it and she would always say "some girls would die for curls like that." I know she will be disappointed in me but I feel like i'm making a good decision. My hair is so damaged from straightening it non stop. I haven't done it curly in months and it just seems like a good idea. Following is a picture of me after I blow dry my hair. This is not dramatized in anyway. This is how it looks EVERY time I blow dry it. I am hoping it will never look like this again. Enjoy!
