One Hill of a Christmas (:

Christmas Eve festivities started in Tremonton this year. We rotate between the 3 families. The schedule went as follows:

Christmas Eve:
Work til 11:30
Mom & Dads (Tremonton)
Check List: Chips, Dip, Egg Nog, Sprite, Shrimp Platter
Drive Home 9:00-10:30
Collapse in bed

Christmas Day:
Stockings & Getting Ready 7:00-8:30
Debbie & Leonards (South Jordan)9:00-3:00
Check List: Orange Juice, Granola, Fruit, Yogurt
Jolene & Johns (Sandy) 3:30-9:30?
Check List: Ham Fried Rice, Pumpkin Pie Egg Rolls
Collapse in bed

The preparation the day or two before Christmas is exhausting. My biggest task was making sure all food items were purchased and prepared ahead of time. Presents were organized in 3 piles to prevent cross family disasters. Lists were put on the fridge by family and date and we somehow managed to stay very organized this year. Hallelujah!

I will post 4 different Christmas post. For each family festivities were different and wonderful in their own way. I will also post about my new family tradition that we did at my parents house.

FIRST STOP.....HILL CHRISTMAS!

As per to the first picture, Jaden was not excited in the slightest. I love this kid. He had a list of things he needed to accomplish before Santa came which included, making cookies, looking at lights, going to Grandmas, etc, etc. It was at least 12 items long. He was so excited!
As soon as we arrived we had lunch and then my Dad showed us his Christmas home videos that my Grandma gave to him a couple of months ago. They were silent but they were absolutely hilarious to watch. I am so happy we have them to watch.
Gits were then dispersed. Anth and I gave our gifts to everyone and then we got to open ours from Mom and Dad because we weren't going to be there on Christmas day. Alexa got some clothes and a blanket from us. Jaden got a freakin awesome home made (sewn by Anth!) fort and hero toys and goggles, Mom got baking items and Varinia got a Vera Bradly purse.
Josh and Dad got an ammo box and these lovely "indoor sweaters". I told them to model their sweaters.....LOL They are hilarious. I think they should stick to their day jobs.
We got spoiled. And I look the same in every photo. We got a large chunk of change from my parents so we could get stuff for the house. I didn't expect any other gifts but of course they couldn't let us not have anything to open. We got a dust buster (yay!), movies, wok & utensils (Anth really loves Asian food), tools, pajama pants, and Anth got a gun bag. Kristi gave me that adorable sweater (I wore it the next two days lol). And Varinia got me the scarf (I also wore it the next two days).
These are the goggles that Jaden got with his fort. They are awesome and everyone wanted a turn.
Jaden got a spy cam. It was a big hit as well.
Mom was so excited for one of Alexa's gifts so she let her open it a day early.
She looked at it. She was HORRIFIED. Then she took a moment to herself. She stroked it. SUCCESS! "Doggie Doggie Doggie!" It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. Alexa is a riot!
Probably the worst family photos of all time. Truly. There is always next year lol.
P.s Kristi came down with a nasty cold and didn't want pictures taken of her. Sad. This is the reason why she is not shown. Love ya sis. Hope you are feeling better.
Pie was consumed. I might have had 2 pieces. Then we bundled up and headed home. It is sad to not be with them on Christmas morning but I am glad I could see everyone open up their gifts from us and to watch Jaden be super stoked. It was a good Christmas Eve. Thanks again Mom and Dad! We can't wait to go shopping to decorate the house.

Thank you for reading part 1 of 4 Christmas Events. The following 3 will be posted within the next day or two.
