House update...again

Today after a lovely baptism we were able to stop by the house to see how things are going. I was pleasantly surprised to see that paint is on the walls and the bamboo wood flooring is sitting in the main floor being acclimated. Flooring will be put in on Monday and the cabinets will be put in on Thursday. Things are moving along quickly now.We got 10 boxes packed up this weekend thus far and our current house is already looking some what barren.

Heres some pictures from our walk through today.

Stucco will be going up this week. I can't wait for it to get done. We don't particularly like stucco but they wouldn't budge on it. Oh well, saved us a ton of money.
The main floor is a open room which consist of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. In the first photo you can see the door to the powder room. Opposite to the powder room is the door that leads to the unfinished basement.  In the first photo you also see the white door, which leads to the garage. 2nd photo is the bamboo flooring. 3rd photo is the bay window (with bench seating under window, yay!) and to the left is the front door.
First photo, view from front door. 2nd photo, when you walk up the stairs it is the reading nook area. It is all mine! I promised Anth that he could do whatever he wanted to the office if I got the nook. On this floor there are 3 bedroom. 3 closets plus one master closet in our room. 1 regular bathroom. 1 master bathroom in our room. 1 laundry room. 1 Nook
First photo is the office and extra bedroom upstairs. The extra bedroom is slightly larger than the office. Top right photo is of the unfinished basement. We will eventually frame for a family room, bedroom and bathroom. It will also have a small storage closet.

It may not seem like a large house. But compared to what we are living in now, it is actually double the space.

I have been really concerned about the wall paint that we chose but I think it looks really nice. Eventually we will do accent walls but for now it will just be the one color. I can't wait to put rugs and color into the house.

Thanks for stopping by!
