Thanksgiving Tradition

Thanksgiving Day Traditions...

Do you have any? I would love to hear about them. We started one last year and it is my most favorite!

It starts with a white tablecloth. Each family member writes what they are grateful for on the cloth. We just use a simple pencil. Some use pictures, others write them out. I took it home last year and stitched the blessings from 2011.

I stitched the cloth throughout the year and it is already such a treasure to me. On Thanksgiving Day it was so fun to see everyone look for their previous blessing. Jaden couldn't believe how many scribbles he did. He went from random lines to doing mountains, water, grass and a sun this year. He is growing up so fast.

It will fill so many memories and it will be fun to watch it be covered with more and more grateful thoughts and doodles throughout the years. I love it.

In going to steal this idea. I wanted to do it this year but it completely slipped my mind.
