Load o Laundry

2012 Costume: Load of Laundry

Cheap (didn't spend a penny)
Easy Assemble (Anth did the cutting)
Hassle Free (Until I had to pee)

I think it turned out alright. I knew I had to have a costume for work but I also knew I didn't want to spend all night making one. It was completed in 5 minutes. Wooohoo!

We had an old laundry basket in the house that I was okay to see die. Anth cut the bottom. We attached some ribbon suspenders to help keep it up. I ran some socks and a belt to the sides and filled it with clothing and blankets. I also found a tube sock and tight it in a knot. I stuck a bobby pin in it and threw it in my hair. I thought it was a nice touch. The basket wasn't too uncomfortable but I found it hard to bend over to pick up items. I wore it for 6 hours. If you are ever looking for a cheap and easy costume next year....load of laundry is the way to go!

Because we closed the office an hour early, the remainder of my night consisted of dinner, cheesy "scary" movies and eating halloween candy......because we never get trick or treaters. Sigh.....oh the life.

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Such a good idea for a costume. Just think once you move in your new house you will get tons of trick or treaters.
