As Of Lately......

I feel like I have been away from from the computer for so long! This previous weekend Anthony and I went to Tremonton for family pictures. It was a lot of fun to be together. The photographer was really great with Jaden when he was tired and bored of smiling and I thought it went really well. (I will post pictures in a couple of weeks when I get them) Afterwards we convened at my parents house for a soup potluck. We had a wide variety of soup and it was fun to see what people came up with. I made lasagne soup. It was amazing! I had never tried it before and I am glad I did.

School is a week away and I am so anxious and excited to get started. It is a 10 week course and then I will have a Radiology, CPR and Dental Assisting Certificate. It will be great to actually have a skill where I can grow in a company.

I have been very frustrated at work lately. I am overly sarcastic with coworkers at times and my attitude towards my bosses are going to get me in trouble one of these days. There is a lot of drama with me and an account manager right now. She works at another location...thank goodness. She demands the world from me and the other receptionist and I am at a breaking point. After a disagreement, (of course she was in the wrong lol) she told me to not be pissy on Friday through an email (along with a whole other pile of crap).....Nobody calls me pissy! I instantly printed the email out and stormed into my bosses office and let him have it! To my surprise he read the email and took my side and said that he would deal with it. My other boss (part owner) approached me today and told me he had heard what had happened (and how ballistic I got) and said he felt that she had put me under the bus for things she should be taking care of herself. It was nice to hear that I was upset for a legitimate reason and that I had people on my side.

Anyways, it will be good to have something to fall back on when the time comes.

Moving on....

Last night I finished a book {Sleep Toward Heaven}. Yes, this was a big deal for me. I have been in a book funk lately. Everything I start has been crap. It was so refreshing to start a book and finish it within 2 days. That hasn't happened forever. Here is the synopsis if you care. I am once again in search for another good book such as this.

Tonight I made Philly Cheese Steaks. It was quite simple and we both thoroughly enjoyed them along with some steak fries. Yum Yum

Boneless steak (have butcher at store slice as thin as possible). Cook meat on medium low until it is half way finished. Add 1 sliced green pepper and 1/2 sliced onion. Veggies should be tender and meat should not be raw...dur.

Add salt, pepper and hot sauce (optional). I used chalula (sp?)

Toast hoagie under broiler in oven. Add provolone and scope meat on bun. MMM

It is so tasty!
I have one more thing to say. I bought a friend the other day. His name is Edgar. Shanna and I went to Bath and Body Works and I saw him from across the room and I knew I had to have him. I held him for a minute and put him back and then with a tiny pit of pressure from Shanna I made the purchase.

Have you tried one of these oil warmers before? I bought a couple of oils and I was really skeptical that they would be any better than a candle. Ummmm holy moly! They have so much power to them that I have to blow out the candle after just a couple of minutes. My house smells delish and Edgar is so adorable to look at. Win-Win.

This was a random post. Life is going by so fast. Things are good.

Well, 10 seemed like such a lame thing which is why it's so low on the list...although that did stress me out ALL THE TIME!
