They sure look good....

I am bored & when I get bored I do one of the following:

1: Eat and veg all day

2: Spend money

3: Bake and make a huge mess of the kitchen.

Because I cannot veg all day I decided to spend money. After buying the little big planet game from amazon for our ps3 I decided it didn't crave my boredom. So I decided to watch a movie. I put Ratatouille in and this made me want to bake.
I made Ratatouille of course. It's quite the process. I'm pretty sure I did it wrong and I'm 100% sure it's not going to taste like it is suppose to but it kept me busy for a couple of hours. It will be ready to eat in about an hour and a half. Because it took so long to cook I decided to make Anthony cookies in between cooking the ratatouille. The house smells weird.

Whenever I make cookies he always complains that I never put oatmeal in it. I always forget to buy it so I usually tell him to stop complaining and EAT THEM ANYWAY! This time I bought oatmeal. He had some dried mango in the cupboard he has been munching on so I decided to make MANGO CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA NUT OATMEAL COOKIES!

It is quite the mouthful to say. I have no idea how they taste but they look freakin amazing. I put a batch in the freezer so I can eat them when I'm skinny. My favorite thing about these cookies are how they look! I love the bright mangoes poking through. Anyways, that's all I have done today. Make messes and cooked. Anthony has been at school all day so I had to entertain myself. Hope everyone else has a fantastic day!

Below is the havoc I created
(notice that there is a huge load of laundry on the kitchen table....the load I should have folded instead of making a bigger mess.)

Ratatouille before it cooked for 2 hours
If it doesn't look like vomit I will post the finished product later

The cookies!

My favorite part.....the mangoes!

Wow Lindsey. You do exactly the same thing I do. Ignore the laundry and bake when I'm bored. Little Big Planet is pretty fun, definitely one you can play with Anthony on a weekend night. Those cookies look divine. You have no idea how bad I want to drive to your house right now and eat them in front of you. That sounded mean, I take it back. I love you Lindsey. And your blog posts. You make my day.

You are a very skilled person. Also, I really enjoyed the cookies you brought to me. They were delish and I believe that you will enjoy those patiently waiting for you in your freezer.
