Let me begin by saying that this has been quite the task. I have had highs and lows. Periodically when I am at the store I get overwhelmed and want to rush over and dive into an apple, banana, watermelon, kiwi, strawberry, etc, etc. I cannot eat fruit on this diet for at least another 3 weeks and it is odd to me that that it is the one thing that I am craving. I figured I would be craving something highly caloric and fattening such as a Café Rio burrito but so far all I want is a piece of fruit. It’s sad. I have found that although I am feeling weak in the fruit department as a whole I am a lot strong than I thought I would be. For example: Book Club at The Cheesecake Factory. It was brutal but it was not unbearable. These are the things that I missed out on:
Avocado eggrolls*Spinach and cheese Dip*Pot Stickers*Shrimp Spring time Rolls*Quesadilla*Santa Fe Corn Cakes*Buffalo Chicken*Calamari.
Calamari sounds gross but it was deep fried and looked mighty fine to me. After this huge smorgasbord of appetizers the girls got their own big hunk of cheesecake. I enjoyed my salmon and asparagus. I did not cry, I did not get witchy. I just concentrated on the task at hand. At the end of the day I felt as If I had accomplished something great!
I have not made one mistake which has been amazing. Basically the diet is this: only veggies and either chicken or fish and water, I get 2 eggs for breakfast. Next Thursday will be my big detox which will last for 5 days and will be 52 ounces twice a day of a nasty mixture of water, lemon juice and maple syrup. Yuck! After that I will go back to the veggies and meat. Then eventually I can in cooperate some fruit. That will be a glorious day. Thus far I have lost 5 pounds and am feeling okay. Besides the constant headaches from the lack of sugar (That my theory at least) I am doing great. Thanks for the support! I’m well on my way!

Yay! Keep me posted next week & such.
They are opening a Cafe Rio in Manhattan Beach which is about 30-45 minutes away from me, weird how they started in SLC.
I am still incredibly impressed with your level of willpower at Cheesecake Factory. I never would have made it...I am weak...I know this. Regardless, you did it, and that is amazing to me. Keep it up yo!
