Museum

Last week we went to the Natural History Museum with Anths Moms fam.. I had never seen this building. It was amazing. Anthony was like a little kid in a candy store. He took so many building pictures. He had to tap all the walls and linger longer than needed and tell me all sorts of architecture info. He cute. Look at him...
Seriously....I am glad I was able to go. He just lights up around awesome buildings.

Memorable Moment:
Throughout the museum there are sniffer whiffers. If there is a flower on display then {sniff, sniff} you can experience what it smells light. Pretty cool. You push a little button and bend your body over and take a whiff.

Towards the end of the tour I wandered off ahead. Around the dino department there was a display and a sniffer.  It read, "Smell what the dinos experienced!" I imagined flowers and earthy goodness. I bent over and pumped it 3 hard time and took a big huge wallow of a whiff. As this was happening I looked at the display in front of me. A small vicious dino was eating another dino and there was one dead dino with maggot consuming his neck. The scent was not yummy, instead it smelled like rotting poo and road kill. The scent totally consumed me, I could taste it. I then started to dry heave at the same moment an older couple approached. It was humiliating. Lesson learned. I didn't sniff for the rest of the night.

I can totally picture you; head bent down inhaling deeply...then the shock-ed look of concern that most likely crossed your face before lucious scent fully reached you. LOL!

That place really is awesome. I love that Anthony talked about the architecture. I go there and Tracy just tells me all about the actual displays and tells me about how they were done and where the dinos were found and who found them, etc. What fun husbands we have.

I have to admit after being there several times, I have yet to go around and sniff the sniffers. I think I did maybe 2 last time and couldn't smell anything, so gave up on them.
