Vitamix

Christmas Eve I was handed a large box from my Mom and Dad. I quickly unwrapped the package and the box said "VITAMIX" on it. I was speechless. I was stunned. My eyes even teared up a tiny bit. I then remember thinking "This better not be a cruel joke." I opened the box and sure enough this was real. Thanks again Mom and Dad!

What is a VitaMix? Well, in a nut shell it is a blender. But it is so much more than that. This is how I have explained it to people. Everyone has milestones/goals/achievements in their lives.

*Marry in the temple-Check
*Own my own home-Check
*Become a mother-Uncheck, Check if you count mothering an aquatic turtle
*Owning my own Vitamix

I am one check closer to having my life be complete LOL. This blender is amazing. It has such a strong motor that it can make flour. It can puree fruits into baby food for my future pumpkin hair colored curly a.d.d children. Pop some peanuts in there and make perfectly smooth peanut butter. The motor is so powerful that I made soup and it heated the soup. Soup straight from the blender to the bowl, piping hot. For breakfast today I had a pear, spinach, grapes, and pineapple smoothie. Spinach? What? Yes, you can't even taste the spinach but I know that I am eating all healthy foods.

After opening this box me and my Mom went to the store and bought some supplies. After getting home I put an apron on and demonstrated some recipes in front of the family. It was hilarious. They were amazed at all it could do. I made guacamole, salsa and a lime-spinach smoothie within 15 minutes. They were believers.

Me and Shanna were introduced to the Vitamix at the fair 2 years ago when we had the Anniversary Inn booth next to the vitamix. We were going to quit our jobs and become demonstrators. By the end of the 13 days we knew how to run it and all the great recipes. We were convinced that we both were going to own them before we were 30. She got one last year, I was butt-hurt but happy for her. I finally got one and its amazing. Anyways, I I just had to post this because it has changed my life. Me and Anthony went to Costco the other night and stocked up. We spend about 100 bucks just on produce. I am set! We got: grapes, apples, bananas, carrots, tomatoes, pears, avocados, mangos, pineapple, and spinach.

Side note, I also purchased some beano. I was shocked to find that my body does not tolerate all these fruits and vegetables. Beano is going to be a staple during my Vitamix journey. That is personal but I had to share. I am hoping after a week or two my body will have adjusted. I am excited to use the Vitamix along with some exercise to see how much weight I can lose.

Anyways, I am hoping to blog more often. I had two huge petals and posh orders that have kept me preoccupied but now that they are finished and Christmas is over I am hoping to get back into the swing of things. I will post about the rest of Christmas soon. Below is my counter after getting done with our Costco trip. Next to the Vitamix is a juicer that Anth gave me for Christmas. It makes amazing carrot, pear and apple juice. MMM! Anyways, hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Love you all!

Congrats, you are lucky. I want a Vitamix blender, but there are other things I want before that ;) Prioritize, Khinna, prioritize. Although, it would be nice to make room, and get rid of all the other kitchen appliances; blender, food processor...

I am sooo happy that you got a Vita-Mix! I LOVE mine, and wake up extra early most mornings so I have time to whip up a smoothie. It makes me happy:) I'm glad you can now partake in that joy.
