I can tell as I read this, that it ...Dear Lindsey,

I can tell as I read this, that it is a heart felt post. I believe we all feel that way in high school when Valentine's day rolls around...well, at least those of us who didn't have dozens of roses waiting for us every year. It reminds me of a story...

My senior year of high school I came out of class to head home and there was a rose on my car. I thought for sure it meant someone was in love with me...or had at least noticed me;) Anyway, I felt so good for the rest of the day and my mind reeled at who could have left it.

Come to find...several years later. It was Melissa...yes, Melissa Weed who had put that rose on my car. Was it sweet of her? Yes. But, I can't help but wonder...was it worth the confusion and anticipation I had in my heart expecting someone to step forward? I appreciate that she gave it to me, but I think a note along with it would have been nice. I would have known that I had a friend who cared, and took a minute to leave me a small gift. I also would have been saved all that time spent wasted thinking about it.

I feel that in your case, Bobby would have been much better off telling you they were from her...and that she just wanted to be nice on Valentine's Day. It would have saved you a lot of torment, and an awkward situation.

That is all.

Love, ShannaShannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16284306436541997369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5812531727765777342.post-59274813261054985242011-02-14T15:42:25.625-08:002011-02-14T15:42:25.625-08:00Thanks so much for sharing this Lindsey!
